...so we created the place and the platform for you to build great experiences and become your best self.
Kiki grew up in Saratoga, Wyoming with an active and adventurous family of five that spent their summers fishing, irrigating, and playing a lot of ping pong. After years away, she returned to the West and kicked off her career at Boa Technology before deciding that startup life was her calling. Inspired by her time helping start Wayfinder Co-op, a coworking space for outdoor-inspired companies, the idea of Westbound was born in 2017. Today, she is harder at work than ever building the Westbound community and first location.
When Kiki isn’t busy being the face of Westbound, she can be found chasing squirrels out of her garden, devouring mac and cheese, spanking tennis, volley, and pickleballs, or exploring Denver on her moped, Poly.
Upon graduating from Vanderbilt University in 2013, Brendan headed west to explore life in the Rocky Mountains. While snowboarding everyday fit the Colorado script, he quickly ran dry of money and began his professional career with IHS Markit, followed by Boa Technology shortly thereafter. Five years of project management and product marketing later, he left Boa to help build Westbound and change the nature of the way people connect.
When Brendan isn’t staring intently at his computer screen, he can be found running ultra and mountain marathons, being entirely unpicky about wine, getting lost in good books, or jetting off to foreign lands on new adventures.
Tinker Homes are the general contractors who are transforming the Westbound space from an old church to a surreal new a-frame and backyard. They have been working tirelessly around the clock to bring the vision to life and eventually open the Westbound doors.
F9 Productions and their team are an experienced, young, and energetic group of architectural design professionals who are bringing an incredibly fresh, clean, and innovative perspective to the Westbound A-frame.
Big Fish Collective may be some of the most passionate marketers you’ll ever meet. From the onset, Rachel and her team took the ideas floating around Kiki and Brendan’s heads and created a stunning and compelling story for Westbound and the manners in which Westbound comes to life on paper.
Brady is an interior designer at the rapidly flourishing tech startup, Havenly. His career experience in contemporary and modern design brings a welcoming, warm, balanced and beautiful design to the unique Westbound space.
There are no accurate words of appreciation or praise for every single person who has provided time, feedback, input, criticisms, and expertise in helping Kiki and Brendan bring Westbound to life. They are consistently there to take surveys, move furniture, paint walls, design logos, and so much more. Westbound cannot be a reality without them.
